Project Name & Location: Pleasant Valley Old Mill Green Preservation Project, Pleasant Valley, NY
Project Description: Restoration of Pleasant Valley Mill to be used as Town Offices for local Historian. Repair and re-pointing of exterior masonry as well as replication of interior period moldings and trim was done. Creating of new park including fishing pier, memorial mall, sitting areas and extensive gardens with walking paths. Masons used salvaged mill stone material to rebuild stone walls surrounding gardens which act as a barrier from Route 44. Replication of wrought iron gates to match photographs and artists paintings from old mill.
