Project Name & Location: Adriance Memorial Library, Poughkeepsie, NY Project Description: Complete historic restoration and renovation to the existing building. Work included extensive plaster repairs, replication and repair of millwork, restoration of marble and wood floors, repair to historic windows including installation of interior storm windows and complete painting of interior including the art deco dome. The exterior renovations included cleaning, repointing and repair of marble facade, epoxy consolidation of exterior moldings, period landscaping and replication of deteriorated wrought iron railings. The new modern and colorful four story addition utilizes geothermal for its heating and air conditioning systems and houses computer labs, teen and children's rooms, a sound studio, new executive offices, a community room with all the dramatic curved entry.
